Some Foreign investors have shown interest to partner IIorin Emirate Durbar to enhance economic activities and to boost the Kwara state revenue base
Towards this end, the Durbar committee will synergise with the investors who has assured of multi- million investment in the sector to create economic opportunities for the youths and others.
This was made known by the Chairman, IIorin Emirate Durbar, Engineer Yahaya Alapansapa while speaking with our correspondent on the sidelines of potentials of Dada pottery in okelele area of llorin East local government area to generate more revenue to the state
He explained that the committee would synergise with relevant stakeholders in Nigeria business Community to improve the economic activities of the people in line with Governor Abdulrazaq policy to revive the moribund industries in the state
Alapansanpa noted that efforts are on to collaborate with the state government on the possible opportunities that are abound in the sector, pointing out that no stone would be left unturned to get the project on line to reduce the youth unemployment in the community
The Ilorin Emirate tittle holder explained that Ilorin Emirate economic potency would become more apparent with more revenue that would be accrued to the state government .
‘Government alone can not do it, hence the need for relevant stakeholders to rise up and support the state government to stimulate investment and economic activities for our people “
He said the country could be great, if organizations, individuals and corporate groups rise up to support business and economic activities of their people the rate of crime,banditary and kidnapping among others would be reduced to a barest
